Terms & Conditions
Payment Liability
Liability for payment of conference fees arise at the time of registration. Attendees are only confirmed upon receipt of payment. Where a cancellation in writing is made by February 21, 2012 or earlier, a refund or credit note will be issued for 75% of the conference fee. After this time, liability for the full amount remains.
Receipt of Payment
In all cases of accepted and acknowledged company purchase order payments, payment must be made in full by March 8, 2012, prior to the start of the conference. Where payment is not received prior to the start of the conference, the registration will be cancelled notwithstanding the fact that the liability of full payment still exists.
Substitutions
Attendees may be substituted up until 5:00 pm EST, March 16, 2012 without further fee, provided notice is given in writing. Send email to
aiimconference@aiim.org.
Attendee Fee Responsibility
Attendees will be responsible for all airfare, hotels, meals and other associated travel costs and arrangements associated with the Conference. AIIM has negotiated competitive rates at the venue hotel (Grand Hyatt San Francisco) for the duration of the conference. These rates are available until February 26, 2012 and can be booked via the
hotel website.
Information Collection and Use
AIIM International collects information from our users at several different points on the
www.aiim.org and
www.aiimconference.com websites. AIIM International is the sole owner of the information collected. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement (see Choice/Opt-out).
AIIM requests information from the user on our various order and registration forms. Here, a user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to communicate with the user.
Choice/Opt-out
Conference registrants are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for the information. For example, when you register for the conference, you are provided the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of AIIM and speaker/sponsor communications.
Users who no longer wish to receive AIIM and speaker/sponsor communications may opt-out of receiving these communications via the
notifications section in their “user profile”. Users may also send an email to
optout@aiim.org with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line, and provide information as to which communication/notification they no longer wish to receive.
