What is the room rate at the Grand Hyatt?
AIIM has a room block reserved with a room rate of $229 (plus applicable taxes) until February 26, 2012. These rooms are available on a first come first served basis. Rooms include free wifi for the days of the conference.
How do I get to the hotel?
AIIM does not provide transportation to the hotel from the airport.

Can I become an AIIM Professional Member now to receive the Conference and Pre-Conference discount price?Yes, you can. Just select that option when you register.
Is there a discount price for becoming an AIIM Professional Member when I register for the Conference?Yes, there is. We've discounted our Professional Membership price to $99 USD (regular price is $135 USD) just for the conference. (NOTE: You must purchase a conference registration at the same time as membership.)

When I pay by credit card, what company name will show up on my statement?The company name on your statement will read AIIM (Assoc Info Mgmt).
What's included?
AIIM Conference 2012 attendance includes: access to all keynotes, breakout sessions, meet ups, and the Solutions Lounge. You'll also be able to view the conference program via a mobile app exclusively designed for the conference.
AIIM Pre-Conference Certificate Training classes include: instruction, tips, resources, and 6 months access to the online modules and exam. Upon completion of the exam, that will measure your experience and learning, you'll receive a certificate of completion. You'll also be eligible to take our Specialist and Master courses.
Can I get credit for attending the Conference and Pre-Conference Certificate Training courses?The AIIM Conference and Pre-Conference sessions are approved for Certified Records Manager (CRM) and Certified Information Professional (CIP) credits.
What meals are included with my registration?Pre-Conference Certificate Training registration includes breakfast and lunch on Monday. AIIM Conference registration includes breakfast and lunch on Wednesday and Thursday, and an opening night reception on Tuesday with light appetizers.
Refunds and Substitutions
What is the refund policy?You may cancel your participation at the Conference or Pre-Conference training classes at any time. But please be aware that when a cancellation in writing is made by February 21, 2012 or earlier, a refund or credit note will be issued for 75% of the Conference fee. After this time, you will be liable for the full amount. (Please see

Can I send a substitute in my place?Attendees may be substituted up until 5:00 pm EST, March 16, 2012 without further fee, provided acknowledged notice is given in writing. Send an email to

Wifi and Weather
There will be free wifi available throughout the conference rooms during the event period, thanks to our wifi sponsor SpringCM. Also, free wifi in your hotel room.
What is the dress code?Conference attire is business casual for all events, including the evening event. We do recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket with you since personal preferences vary regarding room temperature. Also, San Francisco can be a bit chilly. So make sure to check the weather before you pack.
